I was reminded why I'm not a prep, and it was a good thing

So yeah that's my facebook status, here's the reason why...I don't feel like going into too great detail cuz I just got home 15 minutes ago and I've been away for 15 hours so I'd like to just relax.

I was in the senior lounge, a really nice room with couches and music for seniors only (at school of course). While I had a free I was trying to do Chem homework, when I overheard an...interesting conversation. The girls were talking about going to Mexico with friends (no adults) and getting belly button rings they never told their parents about. Or this one girl was talking about how she cant get a boyfriend because, as she put it, she's so easy they'd rather just "get" with her instead of date her, since it takes no work. She literally said "I mean I basically give it out for free"

They then went to talk about last weeks party where they were so drunk they couldn't even spell their own names...

I'm so glad I'm not popular sometimes. Excuse me, I'm so glad I'm not popular all the time. I'd be too afraid I'd go down the horrible path almost all the popular girls at my school have gone. And I do mean almost all, my school is so small I know every girl who goes so I can say that for sure. I just can't understand it. But whatever, their life is their life, they can do with it as they please.
